Carrera 2018 The Marrakech Express (planned dates are Oktober 1 - 14, 2018)

The traditional methods of transport in Morocco are still to be found, running in tandem with the technological advances of the modern world. Mules, camels and horses are alive and well as modes of transport and are still perfectly integrated into Berber culture. If you are interested in travelling our way, it will be in a classic car.

The route we are taking is almost a straight line from Le Mans in France to Algaciras in Spain before we start to explore the great site of magic Maroc.

Here we pass on the edge of the Atlas mountains and the Sahara desert. Experience life as it was 300 years ago, but believe it or not this is 2017.

There will be two categories. The Trial class for the advanced rally drivers who will be presented with challenging roads, adventourous regularity sections and tests.

The club class caters for those who prefer just driving the route under no stress and with time to stop, film and take pictures. Just visit the coffe tea and lunch stops.

The route will pass through great must visit places such as the winerys of France, the Pyrenees, the Sierra Nevada, the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara dessert. So just do it.
